Bhardwaj Photography began its journey on 14 February 2010 in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, with a simple dream — to create a distinct identity through photography and preserve life’s most beautiful moments forever.

THE BEGINNING

Where It All Began

Bhardwaj Photography was founded on 14 February 2010 in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. The journey began with a dream to build an independent identity and preserve people’s most meaningful moments through photography.

The early years were not easy. From 2010 to 2014, photography work was carried out using rented cameras because purchasing a camera was beyond our financial means at the time.

During this important phase of the journey, our elder brother, Amit Dubey Ji (CA), believed in us and provided financial support to help us purchase our first camera. His trust and support gave the dream a new direction.

In 2014, we purchased our first camera, the Nikon D7000. It became an important milestone in our journey and helped us take our work forward with greater confidence and creative freedom.

We believe a wedding is more than a celebration. It is the coming together of two families, relationships and emotions. That is why we focus on preserving not only the big moments, but also the small gestures, genuine emotions and memories that make every wedding unique.

Ankit Bhardwaj

Founder & Lead Photographer

Ankit Bhardwaj is the Founder and Lead Photographer of Bhardwaj Photography.

Driven by a passion for photography and the desire to create a distinct identity, he started Bhardwaj Photography on 14 February 2010.

He learned the fundamentals of photography through YouTube and extensive self-practice. Over the years, his experience and creative approach helped him develop his own photographic style.

Ankit continues to be actively involved in wedding photography, candid photography and cinematic filmmaking. Alongside his own work, he also trains and guides his team.

OUR JOURNEY

From a Dream to a Photography Brand

Every journey has moments that shape what comes next. These are some of the milestones that have defined the journey of Bhardwaj Photography.

2010 — The Beginning

On 14 February 2010, Bhardwaj Photography began its journey in Firozabad. On the same day, we received our first wedding booking and photographed our first wedding in Firozabad. The first wedding assignment brought a payment of ₹14,500.

2010–2014 — The Struggle

During the early years, we worked with rented cameras because we did not yet own our equipment. Despite limited resources and fewer clients, we continued learning, improving our skills and building our experience.

2014 — The First Camera

With the financial support and trust of our elder brother, Amit Dubey Ji (CA), we purchased our first camera — the Nikon D7000. It was a defining milestone in our journey.

2019 — A Special Opportunity

On 15 July 2019, during an event held in Delhi, we had the opportunity to work with renowned storyteller Jaya Kishori Ji.

Earlier, around June 2019, we were also invited for a photoshoot during a Bhagwat Katha event held in Shikohabad.

2026 — Recognition & Growth

In 2026, Photographers Association Uttar Pradesh recognized Ankit Bhardwaj with the responsibility of District In-Charge for Firozabad.

The same year marked another important milestone as he was recognized as one of the youngest District In-Charges in Uttar Pradesh.

Today, Bhardwaj Photography operates with a team of 22 members, bringing together photographers, filmmakers and creative professionals.

What began with a rented camera and a dream has grown into a 22-member photography team dedicated to wedding photography, candid moments and cinematic storytelling.

While the team has grown, our purpose remains the same — to preserve the emotions and memories that make every celebration special.
